All welcome at the book launch and mini-symposium ‘Religion, Ethics, Failure’ on Thursday 8 March from 16.00 – 17.30 (drinks afterwards). Anna Strhan (University of Kent) and Martin van Bruinessen (Utrecht University) will give talks and David Kloos (KITLV) and Daan Beekers (Utrecht University) will present two recently published books on Islam in Aceh and on lived religion and experiences of imperfection.
