18 Jul Fridus Steijlen appointed as Professor Moluccan Migration and Culture
Starting September 1, 2017, Fridus Steijlen has been appointed as Professor Extraordinary in the Moluccan Migration and Culture in a comparative perspective at the Faculty of Social Sciences of the VU University, Amsterdam. This chair has been established at the VU at the request and with the financial support of the Stichting Moluks Historisch Museum. Fridus Steijlen will continue to be employed by KITLV as before, but one day per week he will work at the VU.
