KITLV Press publishes the longest-running anthropological and linguistic journal in the world (since 1851), Bijdragen tot de Taal-, Land- en Volkenkunde (BKI) / Journal of the Humanities and Social Sciences of Southeast Asia and Oceania and the oldest journal on the Caribbean: the New West Indian Guide / Nieuwe West-Indische Gids. Both the BKI and NWIG are available free of charge through Open Access editions through the KITLV website. The press’s most recent journal is Oso, Tijdschrift voor Suriname en het Caraïbisch gebied.
