Membership

We welcome individuals (not institutions) to become members of the Learned Society.

Members may choose between a printed edition of:
•  the Journal of the Humanities and Social Sciences of Southeast Asia and Oceania / Bijdragen tot de Taal-, Land- en Volkenkunde (BKI) or
• the New West Indian Guide/Nieuwe West-Indische Gids (NWIG) or
• a membership without a printed journal.

All members are entitled to:
• Use of the KITLV collections
• The ususal discount of 25% on KITLV Press publications
• News alert Service. The News alert Service informs you about special acquisitions, recent publications, workshops and lectures, and other activities at the KITLV.  You can subscribe by sending an email to kitlv@kitlv.nl

The membership fees in 2013:
• Including a printed edition of the "Bijdragen" 
  € 63,- per year.  

• Including a printed edition of the "NWIG":
  € 44,- per year

• Membership without a printed journal: € 33,- .

• Indonesian citizens residing in Indonesia can apply for membership through the KITLV Jakarta Office for a fee of Rp. 100,000 per year.

Membership is valid for one year and will be renewed automatically. To terminate membership, inform Ellen Sitinjak before January 1: sitinjak@kitlv.nl
