22 Sep Visit delegation Indonesian Academy of Sciences (AIPI)

On 22 September a delegation of the Indonesian Academy of Sciences (AIPI) visited KITLV. Professor Henk Schulte Nordholt (head of KITLV research department) and a few members of the research staff welcomed Professor Taufik Abdullan (chairman board AIPI), Professor Mayling Oey (board member) and two AIPI staff members.

Schulte Nordholt informed the delegation about the new position of KITLV and current research projects. He also introduced KITLV’s new young postdoctoral researchers. KITLV agreed to join the discussion on interdisciplinary research in Indonesia.
