KITLV/Royal Netherlands Institute of Southeast Asian and Caribbean Studies
Programme
Throughout the Netherlands and in neighbouring countries, a large number of scholars are involved in research projects dealing with Southeast Asia. Whereas those working on comparable subjects or in the same countries know each other well, the general academic exchange on Southeast Asia in the Netherlands and elsewhere remains rather limited. Therefore, the Southeast Asia Update brings researchers working on the region together every year.
We have put together a programme that comprises presentations of new and ongoing research. Our explicit aim is to include young researchers and PhD candidates in the programme. Students with an interest in Southeast Asia are also encouraged to attend.
Presentations
The programme will provide ample time for discussion and networking. To allow for as diverse and interesting a programme as possible, the maximum time allocated to each presentation is 15 minutes (including 5 mins discussion).
How to attend
Seats are very limited! Please send an email to Yayah Siegers if you wish to attend: [email protected].
We hope to meet you in The Hague!
