The KITLV has occasional research internship opportunities for enthusiastic (research) master students with a relevant education on a regular basis.

Internship
An internship at KITLV usually covers three months, is always a part of your curriculum at the university. The number of hours per week are minimum 7,6 hours and maximized at 38 hours.

The intern will work on an independent research assignment, in the framework of an ongoing research project, and will get the chance to gain working experience at a research institute while also obtaining ECTs. In addition to the assignment, the intern will have the opportunity to give a presentation at a research meeting and to attend both in-house and external seminars to broaden his/her academic network. At the end of the internship, the intern is expected to write a short paper about the results of the research.

Become an intern
Internship vacancies will be advertised on the KITLV website. Unsolicited applications for an internship should be connected to one or more existing research projects (see here) and can be sent to: applications[at]kitlv.nl.
