Indonesian banks visit KITLV

On Monday 3 November, a group of 16 Indonesian banking archivsts and management staff, visited KITLV. The purpose of their stay in the Netherlands is to collect information on the subject of archives: documentation, presentation, safekeeping and record management. The group was very interested in how to get information on Indonesian banks during the pre-war and post-war period and also on keeping and storing of archival records.

 

At KITLV they were welcomed by Willem van der Molen, researcher, and Nico van Horn, archivist/researcher. The group has also visited the record centre of ABNAMRO and the National Archives in The Hague.
