We are looking for a talented and passionate Mid-Career Researcher in the field of Environmental Humanities, with a particular focus on, and proven track record in, applying transoceanic perspectives.

The researcher will be able and keen to contribute to and strengthen the KITLV’s overall research portfolios and agendas through publishing, organizing events, and applying for a multi-year research grant.

The Mid-Career Researcher will develop her/his own research in line with one or more of the KITLV research clusters:

• State, Violence and Citizenship;
• Mobility and Belonging;
• Climate Governance.
