This course considers the affective politics of sound and music-making in the crises of climatechallenges, discussing the political efficacy in music and sound in (Caribbean) climate scholarship.Attending to scholars in ecomusicology, black studies, and Caribbean performance studies,we will meditate on how music and sound intervene, disrupt, reinvent, and enable reimaginationin the political atmosphere of climate justice.
