Join the annual Historun walking tour and learn more about the lives of struggles of Indonesian students during World War II.

This year, the walking tour follows the story of Irawan Soejono, a Leiden University student who helped produce the Indonesian underground pamphlet De Bevrijding during occupation. On 13 January 1945, he was executed by German soldiers in the streets of Leiden. Historun will bring participants to walk through the locations where he lived and worked. The walking tour is open to registered participants only, with limited spots available. Registration for tickets via ppileiden.info@gmail.com
