Als voorbereiding schreef het MT een zelf-evaluatie en strategisch plan voor de periode 2025-2030. Half mei vond het bezoek van de evaluatiecommissie onder voorzitterschap van Birgit Meyer (Universiteit Utrecht) plaats.

Hare Majesteit Koningin Máxima bezoekt op dinsdagochtend 26 mei het Koninklijk Instituut voor Taal,- Land- en Volkenkunde (KITLV) in Leiden. Dit jaar viert het KITLV haar 175-jarig bestaan. Het KITLV is een onderzoeksinstituut van de Koninklijke Nederlandse Akademie van Wetenschappen (KNAW) en werd in 1851 opgericht.
