Presentation Waves of understanding: Teaching climate change through neurodivergent minds, by Arginia Lucio, MSc (Skol Myrna Dovale).
This presentation explores how neurodivergent students can engage meaningfully with climate change education through sensory-based, experiential learning.
Drawing from the Water Festival project at our school, it highlights innovative strategies that connect environmental awareness with inclusivity, creativity, and emotional engagement. The session demonstrates how diverse ways of thinking can inspire new approaches to sustainability education — where every learner contributes to understanding and protecting our planet.
