This research evaluated the benefits and drawbacks of governance structures employed in addressing food security issues triggered by Hurricane Beryl in Jamaica in 2024.  The study employed a combination of quantitative and qualitative research approaches.

The findings have revealed that the Integrated Governance Framework was the main structure used to address food security triggered by Hurricane Beryl in Jamaica. The main advantage of this framework was the collaborative efforts it facilitated in addressing food security in the aftermath of the hurricane.
