John Mark Napao is the President and Founder of SOLAR Hope (Sustainable Outreach and Lifelong Advocacy to Rekindle Hope Inc.), an NGO that aims to provide solar and sustainable solutions to marginalized communities in the Philippines.

He is also working as Supervisor in NGCP as his day job to support his daily living and the NGO. He have been involved in NGO work for more than 10 years and his expertise is in the field of Rural Electrification, Renewable Energy and Community Development. To-date, Solar Hope have reached 50 communities and lighted more than 3,428 homes and 127 communal facilities/streetlights. Their works were highly recognized as he was also awarded as one of the TOYM 2023 (The Outstanding Young Men), The University of The Philippines (UP) Alumni Achiever,  CSR Youth Awards 2021 by BCYF & Deloitte, Wow Ikaw Na Award by TV5 and many more.

His life mission is to give hope and light to the lives and houses of peoples. He is a beacon of hope!
