Marjury Estillero Dino is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Anthropology, Sociology, and History at the University of San Carlos.

Her research focuses on public health, adolescent wellness, community development, and applied anthropology, with a specific emphasis on indigenous knowledge systems and culturally responsive community research. She explores the complex intersections of culture, youth well-being, and local development to produce socially grounded scholarship. One of the communities she works intensively, is Sama-Bajau in Cebu City.

Currently Marj is pursuing her Ph.D. in Anthropology at the University of San Carlos and she actively bridges academic instruction with impactful local development practice.
