This series, organized by the Chair of Public Anthropology of Kingdom Relations, examines the role of anthropology in our rapidly changing world.

Ethnography has traditionally been the primary method used by anthropologists. This debate explores its significance and potential redefinition in our digital and populous age. For this session, we are pleased to invite Prof. Dr. Irfan Ahmad, Prof. Dr. Peter Geschiere, and Prof. Dr. Peter Pels to engage in a discussion moderated by Prof. Dr. Francio Guadeloupe, where they will share their perspectives on the ever-evolving role of ethnography in the field of anthropology.

Prof. dr. Irfan Ahmad, Professor of Sociology and Anthropology at Ibn Haldun University in Istanbul; Prof. dr. Peter Pels, Professor of Anthropology and Sociology of Africa at Leiden University and Prof. dr. Peter Geschiere, emeritus Professor at University of Amsterdam Faculty of Social and Behavioral Sciences.
