On September 15, the TRACE team welcomed Antony Guegen from the Committee for Cooperation with Laos (CCL) to KITLV Leiden.

The visit provided a valuable opportunity to finalize the administrative details of the TRACE-CCL partnership and align our strategic goals for grassroots climate governance in Laos. While at KITLV, Antony Guegen also participated in an archival research workshop led by TRACE team member Adrian Perkasa.

A key focus of the meetings was laying the groundwork for the future, including in-depth discussions regarding the upcoming fieldwork and research trajectory of TRACE PhD researcher Helen Guohui Shen who will be conducting her research in Laos next year. This visit marks a significant step in solidifying our collaborative network and maximizing the project's impact in the region.
