TRACE team member Adrian Perkasa delivered a talk titled “Local History and Environmental Preservation in Indonesia” (presented in Bahasa Indonesia) at a regional seminar in East Java.

The event was collaboratively organized by the East Java Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism, the Local History in East Java community, and the History Teacher Association.

The overarching theme of the seminar was "Menyusun Narasi, Menciptakan Konten: Strategi Mengemas Warisan Budaya Monumental Menjadi Konten Digital Edukatif" (Crafting Narratives, Creating Content: Strategies for Packaging Monumental Cultural Heritage into Educational Digital Content). Aligning with this theme, Adrian Perkasa’s presentation highlighted the critical role of local historical narratives in driving environmental preservation efforts, demonstrating how traditional ecological knowledge can be effectively translated into engaging educational materials for modern audiences.
